How should I care for my jewellery?

Devi Jewellery is made from sterling silver, fine gold and 18ct gold plate.

Sterling silver will tarnish when exposed to air, this can be removed with a soft polishing cloth. You can help prevent tarnish by keeping your jewellery stored in an air tight bag.

Gold plating is the process of electroplating a layer of 18ct gold to sterling silver. With some extra care your gold plated jewellery will remain looking beautiful for years to come.

Caring for your Jewellery
  • When not in use, store your jewellery in an air tight bag or container
  • Perspiration, saltwater, chlorine, chemicals, make up, hairspray and creams can damage delicate jewellery and gemstones.
  • Please remove jewellery before exercising, swimming or other vigorous activity
Does my jewellery come with a warranty?

All Devi pieces come with a 3 month warranty valid only if the jewellery is proven to be defective due to the manufacturing process. Your Devi warranty does not cover loss, changes in appearance, damage, and breakage due to wear and tear or improper use or storage of your jewellery.

If you receive a faulty product, we will gladly repair or exchange the original piece if the product was purchased within 3 months. To notify us of the fault, please contact us and include the below information:

  • Your order number
  • Your full name and address
  • Photographic evidence of the fault along with a brief description
  • Please note that wear and tear during the course of normal use is not considered a fault
  • Devi Jewellery is delicate and should be handled carefully
  • If outside the warranty, some repairs can incur a fee

All goods purchased from this website come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.
The three month limited warranty excludes, to the extent permitted by law, damage due to ordinary wear and tear, misuse, accident, abuse, alteration, substitution, improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than us or our authorised repairers, theft, disappearance, loss (including lost stones) or any other type of use causing deterioration.
To the extent permitted by law (including Australian Consumer Law), Devi Jewellery reserves the sole right to judge whether or not an item of jewellery has been subject to ordinary wear and tear.

How will my item ship?

All items are shipped via Australia post.

You will be emailed a tracking number once your purchase has shipped. Some countries fall outside of the Australia Post tracking reach, you will be notified if this applies to you.

Will I need to pay duty fees?

Some countries charge duties on arrival into the country. Please check your local customs/duties/import tax fees as Devi Jewellery is not responsible for extra duties or charges on arrival at your destination country.

How can I pay for my purchases?

Payments can be made with a credit card, via Paypal or with Afterpay if you are based in Australia.

Can I cancel or change my order?

If you have changed your mind and would like to cancel your order, please email as soon as possible.

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled.

Can I return my item?

Devi Jewellery does not except exchanges, however we issue refunds for a change of mind or for incorrect purchase provided the item is returned unworn, undamaged its original packaging.

To arrange a return, please email within 2 days of receiving your item, a return form will be emailed to you.

  • Items must be returned unworn, undamaged its original packaging
  • Items must be sent with tracked post, Devi jewellery will not take responsibility for items lost in transit
  • Failing to meet these guidelines will result in Devi Jewellery not accepting the return. The customer will be contacted to arrange a return at the customer’s expense.
